Existence is made of births, growths, deaths, births, growths, deaths… Our lifes have beautiful and terrible moments with ups and downs. There is an invisible repetitive and circular rhythm that marks times and events of each one. In 1866 the Austrian Johan Strauss composed his masterpiece, the wonderful waltz The Blue Danube. This composition has a circular and repetitive rhythm, it’s like listening the rhythm of life.
Play the music below!
Stanley Kubrick, another great genius, used The Blue Danube as one of the main soundtrack of 2001: A space odyssey, a movie with a circular rhythm; in such way it’s a film about time and life cycle. In that story technologies have a rotary movement, the space station rotates and rotates on the notes of The Blue Danube…
….while life goes on, men growth getting old and dying. The great circle of life is closed at the end of the movie with a new born.

Life has a circular rhythm, events are cyclical and repetitive in time and space. A born, a death, one day you’re happy, the day after you are sad then the day after tomorrow again you’re happy, a love born, a love growth, a love dead, then another love born and so on. Sunrise, sun high in the sky, sunset then lunar dawn, night and again sunset. The cycle of water is circular, water is life. The Blue Danube by Johan Strauss hides in his rhythm the secret of life, and Stanley Kubrick understood that. Life has a circular rhythm. Can you feel it?
This is Klimt with The tree of life…

Life is a circle; beautiful moments followed by bad moments, then again beautiful and again bad…

The circle of life goes on, turns and turns…. Can you feel the rhythm of life? Close your eyes and listen the Strauss’ waltz. It is so circular and repetitive like life. Try to photograph and paint the great circle of life.
That’s all folks
Stay well, have always light in your life
