I’ve added a small series of street photography in Rome on my Instagram account. These nine pictures were taken by me in jan-feb 2020, before the lockdown due to coronavirus pandemia. As usual I took photos using my Ricoh GRIII, that actually is my favorite camera for street photography.
A quick personal opinion: Italy re-opened after lockdown the 3 may 2020. So I started to take photos from that day. In pre-covid era street photography was easier than now for me. There were more people in the streets of Rome, nobody wore the mask. I hate mask; it can give more surrealism and drama to a photo but when each person wears a mask it becomes a clichè. Obviosuly people’s faces are less expressive.
But as I said in the opening of this post this series of street photography was taken before the Covid-era in Rome. Enjoy it…
That’s all folks
Stay well, have always light in your life
