New pictures - Street photography in Rome

Here is my latest series of street shots taken on the streets. Rome 2024, mostly taken with an Olympus MJUII, nice camera, but not so good as people on the web says. As Film I used color Kodad 400 ISO, love colors and grain.

I’m trying to focus my view on human being and life; usually I have a melancholic eye when photographing people, this essentially is my street photography, my poetry. Of course i love also odd and surreal situations, infact I’d like to live in places like NYC where streets are crazier!

By the way here is a short vision of Rome through my eye. It’s not about Rome or tourism, it is about me, my vision is essentially myself, my soul. I try to express it as best as I can. My goal is to make you emotional, cry, amaze, maybe even make you angry. When I listen to Morricone’s music I get emotional, sometimes I cry, I feel vibrations inside my body and i return to my childhood. So powerful, that’s art. Same thing when looking at Van Gogh or Mark Rotko’s paintings (just to give another example).

I know I’m far enough to reach these results with my stupid street photography. I try anyway, at least I’m 100% authentic. When you look to my pictures you’re looking inside me, my soul. Basically I hit the streets to find (and show) myself.

As you can see below I’ve posted a small series with emotional pictures (mostly), with a bit of surrealism and humor. I hope you’ll enjoy it.
